Emma Watson Quit

Emma Watson at 33 has had one of the most successful careers in any entertainment, but she's actually quit acting. And for a timeline on Emma Watson's career, she started off with Harry Potter movies where she made $70 million across 8 movies.

And those weren't even her biggest movie with her biggest film coming in 2017 from Beauty and the Beast, which made $1.2 million. But something strange happened in 2018, where in the 5 years since filming the movie Little Women, she hasn't acted or auditioned for one role. Emma Watson said there were numerous reasons for this, with the first being she hasn't done one audition or entire career without having the word Harry Potter mentioned.

Being for every role she's done, the director and producers always bring up her performance in Harry Potter, and she wants to wait for a point people just forget about it. And Emma Watson said the other problem is she doesn't like the process of making movies where she feels as an actress she has no control over what's going on.

One example being the Seth Rogen movie, This Is The End, where she got so frustrated with filming she just walked off set and didn't come back. This was a scene involving cannibalism which freaked Emma Watson out, so she walked off set after Seth Rogen refused to change it. Some have called Emma Watson entitled for this, but she has earned it with her movies making $6 billion in her career. Emma Watson said she'll probably return in a few years, but people will have to wait.
